LA BELLE CHAURIENNE presents one of its specialties, 420 gram Tin Duck cassoulet.
It is basically an excellent stew prepared with beans and various meats such as pork grilled sausages and meat of duck in a delicious spicy sauce.
The Cassoulet has its origin in France in the 100 years’ war, (SXIV - SXV), when the English army besieged Castelnaudary. Before embarking in his last battle, the inhabitants of the city gathered all her remaining food, beans and a variety of meats such as pork, duck, goose, etc...
